The aim of arts education is to enable students to understand and value arts expressions throughout life. There are a variety of goals in arts education for students. Students are to to inquire, create and communicate through dance, drama, music and visual art. Students will respond to artistic expressions of artists using critical thinking, research, creativity and collaborative inquiry. Students will investigate the content and aesthetics of arts in a variety of contexts and understand the connection between the arts and the human experience..
