Brabant Lake

Brabant, a community of 150 people, is located two driving hours north of La Ronge. Trapping, tourism, and mining are the main industries of the area. This village is located in the breath-taking beauty of the Precambrian Shield.

Ospwakun Sepe School (K-8) has four classrooms, a small Industrial Arts shop, and a gymnasium. At present, there is one teacher and a teacher aide for twenty students. A comfortable teacherage is provided at board-set rental rates. Brabant is on a well-maintained gravel highway from La Ronge which serves the "far north". Brabant's tourist operators run a cafe, store and gas service. An excellent phone service, internet access, and Cable TV are available.
