Grade 8/9 Science Teacher - Churchill Community High School (La Ronge)

 
 

La Ronge is part of the tri-community of Lac La Ronge Indian Band and Air Ronge with a total population of over 7000.  Situated on the western shore of beautiful Lac La Ronge, La Ronge is the gateway to exploring Saskatchewan’s far north.  There are many sandy beaches and year-round recreational activities from canoeing and fishing the Churchill River to some of the greatest cross-country ski trails. 

 

Churchill Community High School is a great school with a tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, and Fine Arts.  CCHS has a student population of over 500 and a professional staff component of 36 

 

This is a temporary full-time teaching position to commence as soon as possible until June 27, 2023The successful candidate must be eligible for Saskatchewan Professional or Provisional Professional A teaching certification. 

 

Salary is according to the provincial grid plus a benefits package that includes a housing subsidy and a northern living allowance.  Moving assistance may also be available.
